The Sunshine Underground

Described by themselves as simply 'a party band', Leeds-based band The Sunshine Underground are a fine mix of indie and dance music infused with electronic beats and bleeps, funky bass lines and epic, rousing choruses. With a particular dislike of playing big venues they prefer small, late night gigs, encouraging a houseparty atmosphere. Admitting themselves that making the same kind of music gets boring, The Sunshine Underground have a different offering in every track and, in their own words are '...writing music because they want to and playing it to other people because they want to hear it'.

White Lies

The Ealing trio belt out massively epic, chart-topping post-punk pop tunes. Their dark yet uplifting sound has drawn comparisons with Joy Division, Editors, Killers and Interpol. Scoring a UK no.1 album with their debut back in 2009, their success story has continued leading them to become one of the biggest cult guitar bands in operation, playing to thousands in countless cities around the globe.

Hard Fi

Hard Fi surfaced on the UK music scene in 2005 with their acclaimed debut 'Stars of CCTV', which has now sold over one million copies worldwide. Followed by a couple of Brit Award nominations and a record-breaking run of five consecutive sold-out nights at London's prestigious Brixton Academy in 2006, it's safe to say the band have deservedly built a huge fanbase. Hard-Fi's follow up album 'Once Upon a Time in the West' also stormed to no.1 in the UK album chart in 2007. After a three year break, the band return in 2011 with aplomb and have honed their trademark sound.

The Futureheads

Sunderland-based playing guitar-led post punk in the style of Wire with a twist of XTC. There's four of them in the band and they all sing; not harmony or unison - but all different tunes at once that somehow intertwine. Punk opera, perhaps? After a hiatus following their 2012 a cappella album 'Rant', the boys announced their return in 2019 with new material along with a promise of playing their classics including 'Decent Days And Nights' and their UK top 10 cover of Kate Bush's 'Hounds Of Love'.
