After a sell out for the last year, our screening of The Snowman with live accompaniment from The Kirkintilloch Band, has become a popular part of our annual Winter Festival. Join us again this Christmas for another special screening of the classic animated film with the fabulous live musical accompaniment.

When a young boy starts making a snowman on Christmas, it magically comes to life. The snowman then takes him on a journey to meet Santa Claus.

This classic family Christmas film comes to our big screen with a live accompaniment from The Kirkintilloch Brass Band. Before the film the band will be regaling us with some classic Christmas tunes before treating us to the iconic soundtrack of Raymond Briggs’ timeless tale of a boy and his snowman, alongside the film.

This Christmas, join us on an immersive magical journey and experience the heartwarming tale of The Snowman, screened with live orchestra. A BAFTA winning classic, featuring the song Walking in the Air, The Snowman is a cinematic gem of Raymond Briggs' story with music by Howard Blake, performed live for you by Orpheus Sinfonia as we bring the magic to life this Christmas. Preceded by a festive interactive introduction. With more Christmas tunes than you’ll be able to keep count of, you’ll discover the orchestra and The Snowman as you’ve never seen before. All followed by an opportunity to meet a certain ‘special, snowy, guest’! A perfect festive outing for the whole family, friends and schools, that will charm the entire audience.
