The Eighth of November - the Bodleian Library is opened to the public in 1602, and Rupert Bear, illustrated by Mary Tourtel, makes his first appearance in print in 1920.
...and in 2025, we're delighted to be welcoming three distinct acts new to Knutsford Little Theatre - YouTube historian and songwriter Catherine Warr, inspiring folk artist Mark Beltane, and singer/songwriter Duncan Parsons, each of them carrying with them songs bursting with heart, humanity, history, and humour.
Known and respected in their home cities of Leeds and Sheffield, this will be the first appearance on KLT's stage for Catherine and Mark (Duncan will have played with John Hackett Band shortly before on 25th September). It's going to be a great evening's entertainment as the Autumn matures and we look toward Christmas..
Will any of them commemorate libraries or cartoon bears? Come and find out!
