The Covasettes

The Covasettes are an Indie rock quartet formed in the heart of Manchester’s student town Fallowfield. They instinctively found their sound with the ‘Higher’ demo, which provides a striking combination of immense riffs and immersive melodies. Led by frontman Chris Buxton, who effortlessly produces heart wrenching yet infectious lyrics which allows them to instantly stand out from the crowd. This combined with the input of lead guitarist Matt Hewlett’s world-ending riffs, make The Covasettes a band you can count on to continuously deliver floor filling anthems. With prowess both on and off stage this is a band you don’t want to take your eyes off.

Brògeal

Hailing from the windswept Highlands of Scotland in Falkirk, five-piece Brògeal came together in high school over their love of Scottish and Irish folk music and punk and garage rock. Adding banjo to mandolin to electric guitars to the mix, the band soon found their own unique voice which has seen them emerge as one of the best live bands in the UK and one of the biggest breakout groups in the last 12 months.

O'Phantom

O’Phantom are an alt-indie ghost collective from Hull, inspired by northern landscapes, Cure-esque songwriting sensibilities and Broadcast inspired synths. With a keen devotion to tape music, lo-fi sounds, Yorkshire’s gothic history, and it’s DIY attitude, the band developed frenetic soundscapes centred around melancholic self reflection.

Keyside

Signed with Modern Sky UK, this rapidly rising indie-rock band is among the most happening acts right now on the new music scene in Liverpool, a city that never tires of sharpening the cutting edge. Influenced by much-loved retro sounds (The La’s, The Smiths, The Police), Keyside deliver their work through a unique and decidedly unapologetic Scouse filter that will “…take you out of a darkened sweaty basement and into the fresh fields of festival season” (Liverpool Noise).
