Long Island
Huddersfield based indie-pop outfit Long Island aims to push the boundaries of the genre with their powerful production and heartfelt vocals - a melting pot of all of their wide ranging influences. Hatched out of a university project between vocalist Rhiannon Stephenson and guitarist/producer Cameron Conner, with bassist Paddy Spence-Lewis and drummer Jan van Beem completing the line-up, the band embarked on releasing the music they'd worked on for the last year with their debut album being released in January 2023 to critical acclaim, receiving praise from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and CLOUT as one of their ones-to-watch in 2023 and demonstrating their tenacity to break into the UK scene.
