Offering stirring meditations on themes ranging from accepting change (‘Ready To Forget’) and enduring personal challenges (‘Silver Jet’), to the emotional highs and lows of an intense relationship (‘Dreams’), musically the album evokes a sense of nostalgia – with clear shades of ‘80s synth-driven pop and fuzzy ‘00s indie – whilst creating a fresh, innovative sound which is utterly unique to Roller Derby.
