About the show
The Alex Merritt Quintet plays original material of mine that blends influences from contemporary jazz and contemporary classical music, as well as sensitive arrangements of classic jazz material by greats such as Joe Henderson, John Coltrane and Thelonious Monk, amongst others.
Featuring Alex Merritt – tenor saxophone, Chris Coull – trumpet, Elliot Galvin – piano, Will Harris – double bass, Jeremy Stacey – drums.
