Alex Clarke is a rising British saxophonist known for her warm tone, lyrical phrasing, and deep connection to the jazz tradition.
Emerging from the UK jazz scene, she has quickly gained recognition for her expressive alto playing and confident improvisation. Clarke has performed at major venues and festivals, collaborating with respected musicians and leading her own projects. Her style blends influences from classic bebop and swing with a fresh, contemporary sensitivity. Alongside performing, she is dedicated to music education and outreach. With growing acclaim and a distinctive musical voice, Alex Clarke is establishing herself as an exciting talent in modern jazz.
She is joined by Chris Coull (trumpet), Mark Edwards (piano), Simon Woolf (bass) and Joe Edwards (drums).
