About the show
The most widely sold and famous jazz album in history is arguably Kind of Blue. In this concert, John Coltrane aficionado Josephine Davies (tenor sax) and Cannonball Adderley-influenced Andy Panayi (alto sax) are joined by Miles devotee Chris Coull (trumpet) and a rhythm section led by local pianist and composer Terry Seabrook, for a repeat of last year’s sell-out performance. Kind of Blue is a must-have in any jazz fan’s library and combines artistry and elegance in what is undoubtedly one of jazz’s most seminal recordings.
With Paul Whitten – double bass and Angus Bishop – drums.
