Some of the country's top comedians come together in High Wycombe to raise money for Global's Make Some Noise. Join us for a night of great live comedy, whilst supporting small charities across the UK!
The MC for the night will be Capital Xtra presenter & comedian Leah Davis. She was a finalist in the 2022 Funny Women Awards, named ‘Face of Comedy’ for 2023 and has written for Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle.
Opening the show will be award-winning character comedian Lorna Rose Treen. She was the first ever double award winner at the 2022 ‘Funny Women Awards’, winner of Chortle’s coveted ‘Best Newcomer Award’ 2023 and winner of ‘Funniest Joke of the Fringe’ 2023.
Fresh from Series 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, our next act will be the hilarious Kate Butch! She is also an experienced stand-up comedian, enjoying sold-out Edinburgh runs, as well as performing in Drag Queens vs Zombies and Drag Queens vs Vampires, the latter of which was one of the top 20 best-reviewed comedy shows of EdFringe 2023.
For our headline act, we are thrilled to welcome Nabil Abdulrashid to The Venue Bucks! Nabil is an award-winning comedian and writer, becoming a finalist and Alesha Dixon’s golden buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent in 2020.
Nabil’s TV career is flourishing, with appearances on shows including: twice appearing on QI (BBC), two appearances on Live at the Apollo (BBC) – once as host, Celebrity Masterchef (BBC), Have I Got News for You (BBC) and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4)

Nabil Abdulrashid
Nabil Abdulrashid is an award-winning comedian, writer, presenter and actor. Nabil was a finalist in the 2020 series of Britain’s Got Talent, awarded the ‘Golden Buzzer’ by judge Alesha Dixon for his “edgy, charismatic style.” The Sunday Telegraph described his finalists’ performance as “urgent, uncompromising and refreshingly radical fare, smartly woven into a gag-packed set.” Before BGT, Nabil had already established a successful and varied career in UK and international comedy. He wrote, directed, and starred in his own sketch show on Channel U within his first year of performing, triumphed in the in the ‘Which Religion Is Funniest?’ competition, and was the youngest ever black stand-up to perform at London’s prestigious Hammersmith Apollo. Nabil was a finalist in the New Act of The Year and Laughing Horse stand-up comedy competitions. He won Joe.co.uk’s TV Comedian of the Year award in 2020. Nabil’s stand-up, incorporating multiple languages and humorous commentary on global politics and multiculturalism, has secured him an international following. He has sold out shows in several countries, including Tanzania, South Africa, Dubai (headlining the Dubai National Opera’s first-ever stand-up show), Holland, Austria, and Belgium. One of Nabil’s BRAP (Black Racist And Proud) tour performances was named one of The Guardian’s 10 Best Comedy Shows of 2020. His most recent show, N.A.B.I.L. Kate Butch is a drag queen extraordinaire who rose to national fame as a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. Known for her sharp wit, musical talent, and theatrical flair, Kate captivated audiences with her hilarious performances and unforgettable runway looks. Her time on the show solidified her reputation as a rising star in the UK drag scene, showcasing her unique blend of comedy, cabaret, and camp.
