Olga Fröbe-Kapteyn, Carl Jung and Meditation: A Talk

The conversation will situate Olga?s paintings in terms of her relationship to Carl Jung who she knew personally.

It will also explore her relationship with the wider esoteric community of artists, poets, theosophists and anarchists in the cultural and political whirlpool of Europe in the 1930s.

We will also explore the meditative qualities of Olga's paintings.

Having worked in specialist therapeutic services with children and adolescents, Kevin has a long term interest in esotericism and the writings of Jung and his followers .

He has an additional interest in Tibetan meditation and is a member of the newly founded St Leonards Jungian reading group.
