Break the Waves #4 ft Crescent + Pluto + Harlan Frank & The Houseplants

It’s been a while, but #BreaktheWaves is back for the 4th instalment, celebrating the new, emerging, and up-and-coming bands in Hartlepool. We are delighted to present this three-band bill for the Summer…

CRESCENT
Crescent return to our stage, having played a blistering set last time for our Independent Venue Week event back in January. Making waves with their 60s/70s-dripped, psychedelic-infused jams, inc renditions of some classic song, and killer originals.

PLUTO
Pluto now boasts a full band—an indie four-piece with emotionally fuelled lyrics and great choruses, which are bound to give you earworms. They are debuting as a band on the Studio Stage.

HARLAN FRANK & THE HOUSEPLANTS
The newest Hartlepool band, we would guess, led by Harlan Franks (Redshift, Start Making Sense – Talking Heads Tribute), will be delighting us with some alt-rock with a touch of blues. Another debut band to grace our stage.

Tickets are just £5 on the door. All bands will take an equal split of all door takings, and The Studio will cover all other costs as part of our commitment to promoting new, emerging, original bands in the local area.
