Sunday service is in session with a stella lineup of comedy talent, brought to you by the hilariously “weird” and very funny compere Anthony J. Brown.

Headlining this fab lineup is Liam Farrelly, the acclaimed Scottish Comedian of The Year, star of Live at The Apollo and known for his natural storytelling flair. Joining him is Tom Wrigglesworth, a true crowd-pleaser and a staple on shows like Russell Howard’s Good News.

The show also features the “funny, engaging, and brilliant” Rachel Hough, alongside the Best New Yorkshire Act 2025 winner, Rich McCulloch.

Liam Farrelly

Liam Farrelly appearing at this event

Liam Farrelly is a Scottish comedian from Paisley, who started performing stand-up aged 17 whilst still in High School and who immediately went into comedy full-time after graduating. A meteoric rise through the ranks has seen him nominated for and winning a raft of awards, have a guest acting role on BBC Scotland’s Scot Squad (S4E2, 2018) and perform at the UK’s best and most prestigious comedy clubs, including Scotland’s The Stand, Monkey Barrel, Liverpool’s Hot Water Comedy Club and both the London and Manchester Comedy Stores—all barely a year after first setting foot on a stage. Liam’s stand-up is story-based and his material is uniquely personal—you could say his unusual family have provided him with a goldmine, as his sister and an aunt are both nuns, he has a wheelchair bound parent with MS who has a wicked sense of self-deprecating humour, and other close relations are in various degrees of deterioration.

Tom Wrigglesworth

Tom Wrigglesworth appearing at this event

Tom is a frighteningly tall comedian, but a thoroughly nice man with a likeable stage presence and confident delivery. This Yorkshire funny man became a national have-a-go-hero when he rescued a little old lady from the jaws of Virgin train bureaucracy, only to be arrested for begging. He's also the winner of Channel 4's 'So You Think You're Funny?' competition. An articulate and natural raconteur, he possesses an innate ability to riff with an audience like they’re old friends. His warm and hilarious tales, told with true passion never fail to captivate the crowd. His television credits include Russell Howard’s Good News, Edinburgh Comedy Show, Live At The Comedy Store and Engineering Giants. 'Magical storytelling... a rare talent... hysterical and accomplished' (Time Out) 'The gods of comedy chose greatness for Tom' (The Scotsman).

Anthony J Brown

Anthony J Brown appearing at this event

Clad in a sartorially edifying manner, like a dapper and dandy funeral director, Anthony cuts a unique on-stage presence with humour blacker than a raven that's slammed it's claw in a coffin lid. And not the merest hint of profanity. The overall effect is both perversely hypnotic and wholly original, leaving the audience zealously hanging on to every syllable like turncoat lemmings on a rockface. Jongleurs / Metro Stand And Deliver Award winner and former BBC New Comedy Award Runner-up, he is a regular contributor to Radio 2's The Arthur Smith Lectures. As seen on The Stand Up Show and Phoenix Nights. 'Dark quips and relentlessly witty audience-goading ad-libbing from a compelling host' (City Life) 'Hilarious ad-libs and wicked one-liners from an infectiously funny performer (The List).
