Shines
Shines are a four-piece band from the North East of Lincolnshire consisting of Richard Dutton (vocals), Rob Cross (guitar), Marc Poole (bass), Chris Day (drums). The band describe their music, which is influenced by bands such as The Clash, The Cure, The Smiths and The Drums, as rehearsal pop in reference to its lo-fi, low budget sound and their prolific, melody-rich output. Originally conceived in 2021 when Dutton and Cross began making demos during lockdown, the band finally took shape in 2023 and currently have an album recorded and ready to release.
