The legendary singer-songwriter Paul Simon has just announced he will continue the 'A Quiet Celebration Tour' following a highly successful and critically acclaimed US tour, and bring this intimate concert series to the UK and Ireland in spring 2026.
The show opens with the performance of the Grammy nominated masterpiece Seven Psalms. This beautiful 33 minute continuous piece of music was heralded by the press worldwide - the Guardian called it “a masterful suite” and Times of London “a remarkable album”. After a brief intermission, the show continues with many of Simon’s classic hits and some rarely, if ever, performed pieces, all lovingly and newly arranged specifically for this tour.
Paul Simon
As half of the legendary duo, Simon & Garfunkel, he was one of the most influential songwriters of the 60s and 70s. Paul continued to forge a successful solo career in the 80s, and released the ground-breaking album Graceland, which won a Grammy, and helped popularise the world music genre. His prolific solo career continues, with more than ten studio albums to date. In 2000 he was inducted to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame for a second time to recognise his work as a solo artist, and in 2006, Time Magazine called him one of the '100 people who shape our world'.
