Machine Gun Kelly, or MGK, is an American rapper from Shaker Heights, Ohio. His stage name was given for his rapid-fire lyrical flow and is a reference to notorious criminal George "Machine Gun" Kelly. The Cleveland bred emcee quickly built up an international following of loyal fans that few peers can match. Penning rhymes about everything from addiction to family issues, MGK is a symbol of relentless perseverance to his fans. MGK continues to be a jack of all trades and expand his creative portfolio with numerous projects outside of music. He stars in the Rupert Wyatt-directed sci-fi film, Captive State, and signed up to the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency. He was also handpicked by famed writer/director Cameron Crowe for a regular role on the Showtime series, Roadies, and also starred in independent films such as Punks Dead, Nerve (with Dave Franco and Emma Roberts) and The Land (with Erykah Badu) in which he served as co-executive producer.
