As most bands do, Caleb, Kieran, Ashton and Peppa came together through blooming friendships and lucky connections. A few jams later, the bond was cemented and the debut gig in Caleb's dad's backyard kicked it all off. In the year that followed, Freo's very own garage pop outfit Spacey Jane went from backyards to bright lights, sharing the stage with the likes of Car Seat Headrest, Nothing But Thieves, Alex Lahey, The Jungle Giants and more, along with Australian festival appearances at Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Yours & Owls and WA Day's SOTA Festival. For relatively new kids on the block, they’ve had a very impactful start. Support from industry and fans continues to grow, with their tour in support of the recent single ‘Good for You’ being a sold-out affair.

Mia Wray

Thanks to a belter of a voice, no holds barred lyrics and endless charisma, Melbourne artist Mia Wray’s star is on a rapid rise. Originally from Noosa, the alt-pop powerhouse honed her craft playing bars, restaurants and country clubs up the coast, just her and her guitar. In her late teens she moved Melbourne, and after a couple of years of gigging locally realised there was a bigger, braver sound, one she’d not dared to dream, waiting dormant inside her.
