We are delighted to welcome Foy Vance for an instore performance and Q&A in support of his album The Wake (released 13th March 2026) at Assai Records Glasgow, on Tuesday 3rd March 2026, at 5.30pm
Foy Vance’s seventh album The Wake marks the completion of a decades-long journey defined by tireless soul-searching and life-altering revelation. Produced by Ethan Johns (Paul McCartney, Ray LaMontagne); The Wake brings Emmy-award winning Vance’s gritty vocal to a potent convergence of folk, soul and Southern blues. In his intimate exploration of the human condition, the result is the purest distillation of his truly singular artistry, imparting defiant joy into songs of longing and loss and hard-won acceptance.

Surely you’ll hear echoes of Otis Redding, Richie Havens, Tom Waits and Van Morrison in Foy’s music, legends he’s already being compared to and definite influences. An ever so modest Foy will laugh at these comparisons, but then again that’s what makes him so special.
