Based in Cornwall but reaching across continents, 3 Daft Monkeys are a genre-defying folk-world four-piece powerhouse. This independent band brings an original and electrifying mix of Eastern and Western influences to their music, crafting a bold, vibrant blend of styles.
The band experiment with modern storytelling in a playful way, creating songs full of emotion and infectious energy. Combining Celtic and Cornish roots with fiery fiddle tunes, Balkan and Romani influences, punk-style sass and irresistible global rhythms, they whip audiences into a frenzy of emotions with every performance.
3 Daft Monkeys have recently released their brand-new album Information Camouflage. This highly acclaimed release has been described as “an optimistic, life-affirming whirlwind of earthy goodness” (Spiral Earth) and “an anarchic mix of punk-faced Cornish folk simmered in a rich sauce of Balkan exotica, full of wonders and mysteries” (SLAP mag). The band funded the album through a huge independent crowdfunding campaign, showing how deeply loved they are by their ever-growing global fan base.
