Baka have toured the world playing immersive African world fusion so this promises to be a great night!
Inspired by the Baka Pygmies of Cameroon, Baka Beyond doesn’t just play their music – they live it. Martin Cradick and Su Hart, the brains behind the band, were so moved by the Baka‘s spirit during their first visit to the Cameroon rainforest that they knew they had to share it with the world. Their album “Spirit of the Forest” catapulted them to global fame, but they’ve stayed true to their roots.

Baka Beyond
After 25 years of mixing African and Celtic music in equal measures, Baka Beyond has become one of the finest danceable bands around creating the sound of the global village and attaining worldwide recognition. The energy of their thoroughly uplifting and seamless blend of fiery beats, enchanting harmonies and spectacular dancing defies anybody to sit still. Each musician brings their own influence and talent to the music creating a unique spectacle and honouring a lesson learned from the Baka people, 'everyone is to be listened to'.
