Known for his brilliantly chaotic stage presence, off-beat observational material and physical comedy, Phil has built a reputation for delivering unpredictable, high-energy shows packed with silliness, sharp gags and big audience laughs.

A star of Taskmaster, Phil has also received major recognition for his live work, including the Edinburgh Comedy Award Panel Prize for Funz and Gamez, as well as further acclaim for his festival shows and comedy performances. His unique style has earned five-star praise from both The Scotsman and The Mirror, marking him out as a truly original and unforgettable live performer.

Phil Ellis is a comedian and writer known for his chaotic stand-up and live performances. Phil broke onto the comedy scene with his widely acclaimed Funz and Gamez, which won the Panel Prize at the 2014 Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards. He is making his way in TV with The Tapeface Tapes (BBC3) and Phil’s Ill: Comedy Shorts (Dave).
