Please note: Info provided by the Event Organiser

Winterbourne Barn was built in 1342. Permission to host a June fayre in Winterbourne was granted by King Richard II in 1393, and the Barn Trust is delighted to still be upholding that tradition over 600 years later. So join the festivities for a taste of medieval life!

Walk through The Company of Chivalry's encampment with living history demonstrations of varied aspects of life during the 1300s. Watch exciting combat displays from the Warwick Warriors, laugh with the wandering jesters, enjoy live medieval music, try Have-a-go archery, traditional games, Knight School, activities for young children, and browse the wide range of medieval-themed artisan craft stalls and displays.

Plenty of food and drink is available including Hog Roast, a range of Persian style foods, and gorgeous medieval bakes. The bar serves alcoholic and hot or cold soft drinks and snacks.

FREE car parking at Winterbourne Academy (High Street, BS36 1JL) with a free shuttle bus to and from the Barn running all day (fold-up buggies etc accepted). Limited car parking for blue badge holders is available on site but MUST be reserved in advance - email ceara@winterbournebarn.org.uk

Bicycle parking on site. Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
