Middlesbrough's award-winning multi-venue music festival returns once again in October 2025.

Swim School

Based in Edinburgh, swim school are a 4 piece, indie-pop band made up of Alice Johnson (Vocals/Guitar), Lewis Bunting (Guitar), Nairn Milne (Drums) and Matt Mitchell (Bass). Announced in 2019, but having originally formed at the end of 2018, swim school already host an eclectic collection of songs featuring the inspired tones of The Cure, Pale Waves and Wolf Alice. swim school dived into Scotland’s burgeoning indie scene with their debut single ‘sway’ which was released on the 22nd February. The release of ‘sway’ turned heads, attracting the attention of Tenement TV, The Modern Record, The Sun newspaper and radio DJ, Jim Gellatly. “An upbeat, melodic, guitar driven group with an element of pop, swim school are Scotland’s freshest indie-starters”

Adult DVD

A band formed originally as a product of lockdown boredom, Adult DVD began in the form of friends Harry Hanson and Greg Lonsdale experimenting with synths and writing over the internet together. As musical ideas blossomed into fully-fledged songs, further members Jonathan Newell, Danny Blackburn, Jake Williams and Charlie Howard joined and the full band became a reality. In the short time since releasing their debut single earlier this year in February 2021, the band have already gained a number of admirers, receiving support from BBC Introducing, Radio X (John Kennedy), and Amazing Radio in both the UK and US.

PUNCHBAG

South London sibling duo PUNCHBAG swing between dizzying extremes, where unapologetically sugar-sweet pop hooks clash with radical leftfield production; where emotional overwhelm can be purged in the space of a single throwaway lyric; where lines are blurred and redrawn between aggression and joy, softness and toughness, PUNCHBAG (consisting of Clara and Anders Bach) are a compelling proposition.
