Kings Of Leon

Kings Of Leon appearing at this event

Tennessean alt-rock group comprised of three brothers and a cousin. The Kings Of Leon take their titles very seriously, producing country-laden rock’n’roll with hints of blues and boogie-woogie. Brought up in the Deep South and having spent most of their childhood’s travelling, the Kings Of Leon (whose name comes from the brothers' father and grandfather) have a deep, drawling, rootsy sound and a suitable legacy to match.

Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts

Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts appearing at this event

Acclaimed as one of the most important composers and performers of all time, Neil Young could almost be two artists in one body. His work ranges from the beautiful and moving folk sounds he has produced as a solo artist and with Crosby, Stills and Nash to the powerful and energetic rock which has often been the result of his collaboration with Crazy Horse and which earned him the nickname 'the Godfather of Grunge'.

The Lumineers

The Lumineers appearing at this event

Essential listening for americana and folk lovers - The Lumineers sound is an amalgam of heart-swelling stomp-and-clap acoustic rock, classic pop, and front-porch folk. The roots revival of the last few years has primed listeners for a new generation of rustic, heart-on-the-sleeve music - the kind that nods to tradition while setting off into uncharted territory. The Lumineers walk that line with an unerring gift for timeless melodies and soul-stirring lyrics.

The Black Crowes

The Black Crowes appearing at this event

In 1990, when journalists were lamenting the death of rock, as cheesy pop and hair metal dominated the charts, Atlanta's Black Crowes gave the genre a swift and much needed kick in the butt with Shake Your Money Maker. Fueled by singles Jealous Again, Twice As Hard, She Talks To Angels, and the rollicking cover of Otis Redding's Hard To Handle, the band immediately took the rock world by storm, topping Rolling Stone's 'Best New American Band Readers Poll' in late 1990. The Black Crowes went on to release eight studio and four live albums, selling in the tens of millions along the way. They sold out shows around the world; had legendary guitarist Jimmy Page join as a member; got kicked off a tour with ZZ Top for insulting the sponsor; got screwed by bad record deals; got married and divorced, plus fought amongst themselves and the rest of the world, In other words, they've done everything a legendary rock group should do. Brothers Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson reunited in November 2019 and hit the road again in 2020.

Max McNown

Max McNown appearing at this event

A singer-songwriter from Bend, Oregon, Max McNown creates the kind of songs that perfectly soundtrack our most intimate moments: times of intense heartache and tremendous loss, immense upheaval and life-changing revelation. Within just a year of teaching himself to play guitar, the Oregon-bred, Nashville-based musician turned out three EPs spotlighting his emotionally potent yet nuanced lyrics - an element beautifully displayed on his breakout single “A Lot More Free,” a track that landed on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart and greatly expanded his grassroots following. Anchored in the charmingly warm vocal presence he partly honed by busking at the beach in Southern California, McNown’s debut album Wandering brings an even deeper sense of purpose to his songwriting - and, in turn, reveals his extraordinary capacity to ease the mind and strengthen the soul.
