April's Acoustic (Ish) Den Of Iniquity

Popes of Chillitown

Taking all the best bits of classic 2-tone and modern ska-punk, throwing them in a blender with dub, drum & bass grooves and enough energy to power a small city are Popes of Chillitown. A six piece Ska/Dub/Punk band from London who have been rampaging through the UK scene for the last few years like an unstoppable grooving, skanking juggernaut. "More infectious than Ebola, it is almost impossible not to want to skank, jump, shake or wiggle when you listen to these guys."

Skids

1977 anarchy lives on as Richard Jobson's legendary Scottish punk band The Skids continue to wow the crowds. Perhaps best known for their '79 top ten hit 'Into The Valley', they became a major influence on later bands like Green Day and Manic Street Preachers. Via Pledgemusic, the boys celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2017 by releasing 'Burning Cities', their first new album in 35 years. Their third album The Absolute Game was their most commercially succesful album reaching the #9 in the UK album charts.

Subhumans

UK anarchist punk collective Subhumans formed in the Trowbridge area of Wiltshire in 1980, comprised of vocalist Dick, guitarist Bruce, bassist Phil, and drummer Trotsky. The band enjoyed success as one of the more literate and musically athletic British punk ensembles between 1980 and 1985, occupying the middle ground between the Clash's political songcraft and Crass' experimental warfare.

Eddie & The Hot Rods

Eddie and the Hot Rods began life in 1976, when four teenagers from Southend on Sea got together, and playing their own style of fast energetic rock'n'roll/r'n'b, were soon a big hit on the London pub scene. Catching the eyes and ears of the music press and the major record companies, they were soon signed up by the legendary Island Records and went on to have three hit albums and three Top 40 UK singles including the Top 10 hit 'Do Anything You Wanna Do'. There have been numerous TV appearances worldwide and they have filled almost every major venue in the UK. A success in the USA too, they have toured alongside The Ramones, Tom Petty, The Police, Squeeze and Talking Heads.

Static Kill

Nottingham trio, Static Kill, formed drunkenly in January 2011 displaying their individual slant on acoustic punk, rock n roll and reggae covers. Since then, there has been no stopping them, having already secured high profile supports for Street Dogs, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, and UK Subs.
