The free parade is the perfect way to welcome all of the international, national and regional performers, who will be enthralling and entertaining audiences throughout BIFF 2025.

For decades residents and visitors have lined the streets of Billingham on the opening day of the festival cheering and waving at the dancers.

This year you'll be able to see representatives from Bolivia, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, England, Georgia, Ireland, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Montenegro, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Romania, Scotland, Ukraine, and USA.

If you love what you see you could then stay in the town centre and watch the Opening Ceremony.
