Páirc Summer Series is excited to host two days of Irish music and celebrations in Kings Heath this August Bank Holiday.

The Undertones

Formed in Derry, Northern Ireland in 1975, The Undertones became renowned for combining lyrical invention and musical flair with intelligent simplicity. Their anthemic Teenage Kicks, much loved by John Peel, was one of the most influential songs of the post-punk era. Reformed in 1999 without the influential Feargal Sharkey, they are still pumping out their classics hits with some new material.

The High Kings

Finbar Clancy, Brian Dunphy, George Murphy and Darren Holden perform exciting new songs in the folk idiom and re-energise great Irish ballads. They have had great success over the years including Best Folk Act 2009 at Ireland's Music Awards. Their reputation has grown tremendously and they have had enormous success both within the US and Ireland.

The Tumbling Paddies

Rapidly becoming one of Ireland’s most popular entertainment acts. The Tumbling Paddies have grown from strength to strength, particularly in the past two years. It is no surprise that their music is played in many venues throughout the world. Originally starting out in 2014 as a five-piece performing at local weddings and pubs in their beloved County Fermanagh the band has continuously evolved to where they are today. It wasn’t long until Oisin came in on keyboards and the band started to expand on their music gaining more and more followers as they toured.
