We’re delighted to announce our first ever WKNDR between our two sister venues Oran Mor (Glasgow) and Cabaret Voltaire (Edinburgh). We have put an exciting and eclectic lineup together where most acts are playing Edinburgh one day and Glasgow the other over the weekend of Friday 25th and Saturday 26th July.
Haiver
After years of captivating audiences as a key member of the renowned band Frightened Rabbit, musician and songwriter Billy Kennedy is stepping into a new realm with his project, Haiver. The music genuinely delves into the raw depths of his vulnerability, touching upon themes of darkness, grief, and loss, yet infused with an uplifting sense of hope. Teaming up with Brett McCann of Community Swimming Pool, the duo is gearing up to embark on an exciting musical journey in 2024. As well as recording / releasing the debut album, they are also in the process of assembling a full band, adding layers of depth and energy to their musical vision. With this lineup, they are set to unveil electrifying live performances that are bound to leave audiences thrilled and eager for more in the upcoming year!

The Era are a duo from Glasgow consisting of electric harp player Lochlann and singer / guitarist Cal. Taking as much influence from pop icons such as Sky Ferreira and Charli XCX as they do from indie references like Arctic Monkeys, The Kills & Nine Inch Nails.
