Mucky Weekender is Winchester’s favourite three-day music & arts festival, organised by Dub Pistols’ frontman Barry Ashworth.
The event returns for its sixth year and fifth year at Vicarage Farm from Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th September. The intimate 5000-capacity gathering is set within 28 acres of private parkland, featuring 4 stages with one secluded in the woods. The theme for this year is Dead Famous. "Expect the most electric of atmospheres, you can arrive alone and leave with 100 new friends" says organiser Barry Ashworth. Mucky Weekender champions all music genres featuring established and up and coming live bands, DJs, street performers and circus acts.
Appearing:
Dub Pistols
Dub Pistols have done everything it's possible to do in a band and still want more. Fronted by infamous Londoner, Barry Ashworth, they have toured the world more times than most of us have changed channels, they have spent years breaking America down into tiny, eager pieces via extended jaunts with punk-rock roadshows, whilst remixing the likes of Moby, Korn, Limp Bizkit and a host of others along the way. Simply one of the best live bands in the UK.
