Internationally-acclaimed guitar virtuoso Galina Vale returns to St Helen’s Church. Her individualistic performances combine a charismatic stage presence in costume and a dynamic powerful playing style with an unusually wide ranging and technically demanding repertoire.
Praised in reviews for her "deep fiery performance" and exuberant style, critics have styled her "La Diva de la Guitarra".
Come along and enjoy an eclectic programme including flamenco, arrangements of Latin American and East European world music and jazz/flamenco/classical crossover.
No booking required, but come early to avoid disappointment as we have had a full house for Galina’s previous visits.
