Apart of the Women in Comedy Festival
Since 1989, Forever Manchester has delivered over £65 million into local communities across Greater Manchester, supporting thousands of grassroots community projects.
Among the projects we've funded are some brilliant, women-led initiatives that uplift and empower women in all their diversity, including women of colour, trans women, disabled women and others whose voices are often overlooked – like a group offering emotional and practical support to bereaved women, a feminist digital media collective turning up the volume on marginalised voices, and a grassroots charity helping women recover from domestic abuse and trauma through mutual aid.
But let’s be honest… if we want to keep funding these incredible projects, we need to keep raising money. Every donation, no matter how large or small, stays right here in Greater Manchester, supporting grassroots community projects that make a real difference to the lives of local people."
