The Libertines
In the early Noughties, you could not escape the sight or sounds of these infectious modern-day punks. Whether dancing at Indie clubs, reading the NME or tuning into Radio 1, The Libertines were everywhere. Top 20 hits like 'Time For Heroes' and 'Can't Stand Me Now' were on heavy rotation and they gained a somewhat obsessive fan base. But after just two short 'n' sweet albums (2002's 'Up The Bracket' and 2004's eponymous 'The Libertines', both produced by The Clash's Mick Jones) it was all over. So what became of the likely lads? Personal problems and battling demons saw Peter Doherty and Carl Barat split up and go their seperate ways with various solo projects and forming new bands. But time is a great healer and they patched up their differences to reform in 2010.

Tony Hadley
As lead singer of Spandau Ballet, Tony Hadley has, over the years, earned the accolade of being one of pop music’s greatest vocalists. Pioneers of the '80s Romantic movement, Spandau Ballet had numerous chart topping singles and albums all over the world, the most memorable being the singles "Gold" and the international number one "True", the latter famously sampled by PM Dawn in 1991. As a solo artist in his own right who has continued entertaining audiences with his stunning rich voice that has lost none of its power. He released his first solo album back in 1992 and has continued to release albums sporadically, including a jazz/swing album and a Christmas album.

They split up in September 2001, after selling over 20 million records worldwide, having 11 top ten singles and four top ten albums in the UK, selling out Arena tours, and picking up just about every achievable award including Brits and MTV. The band reunited in 2013 as part of The Big Reunion documentary series on ITV2 and went on to perform as a three piece for a number of years. In February 2025 they made fans ecstatic when they announced they were reforming as a full five piece band again.

Lottery Winners
Lottery Winners are a mob of four twits from a rubbish working class town called Leigh, near Manchester. They’re also probably the best live band in the country. With the release of their highly anticipated debut album looming, now is definitely their time. The band have toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe, filling venues and raising roofs. If you don’t believe me, come to a gig and look around at everyone’s stupid smiling faces.
