Jake Quickenden
Scunthorpe-born former lifeguard and semi-professional footballer turned singer. Jake first gained popularity by appearing on the X Factor in 2012 and 2014, then being runner-up of 2014's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here. He also won the 10th series of Dancing On Ice, partnered with professional figure skater Vanessa Bauer. As a youngster he grew up listening to his father’s favourite groups, Johnny Cash and The Beatles, while his own personal musical influences include Usher, Craig David, Ben Howard, Damien Rice, Matt Corby and Ed Sheeran. Armed with his acoustic guitar, Jake was originally known for his cover versions, but he later went on to release a string of EPs and singles containing original material. Jake has also starred in a UK tour of Hair The Musical.
