This summer marks a monumental milestone in music history - the 40th Anniversary of Live Aid! Join us this year as we mark the occasion and welcome back South West favourite cover experts “BETAMAX 80s” for their special tribute to the biggest names in the music industry at that time.
Relive the Iconic Moments: Live Aid set a new standard for global charity concerts and we’re honouring that legacy with an evening dedicated to capturing the spirit of 1985 and a journey through the music that made Live Aid such a global phenomenon.

Betamax
Betamax is an electronic Synth Rock 80s band. Expect synthesizers, an old Amstrad computer, some Neon lights and an industrial size bottle of Cinzano. Once that is all plugged in & poured out, you’ll hear a boat load of tunes you probably haven’t heard for about 30 years, including tracks from Depeche Mode, New Order, Joy Division, Trevor Horn, Human League, Gary Numan, Talking Heads and many more!
