Enfield’s comedy brand, Resistance Comedy, returns to the Dugdale Arts Centre for another unforgettable night of stand-up in the heart of Enfield Town. Funny @ DAC showcases some of the UK’s best and brightest comedians, combining sharp wit, clever storytelling, and big laughs for a top-quality Saturday night out.

This Month’s Lineup:

Rick Kiesewetter (MC) – American-born comic known for his sharp humour, cultural insight, and memorable Britain’s Got Talent appearance.

Darran Griffiths (Headliner) – BBC Radio regular and British Comedian of the Year finalist, bringing smart, relatable comedy and boundless energy.

Tasha Cluskey – Fearless, funny, and fresh, one of the UK’s fastest-rising stand-ups.

Rob Moriarty – Quick-witted and confident, delivering clever material and slick punchlines.

Junior Booker – Charismatic, bold, and hilariously honest, a true London favourite.

DOM LTR – Unpredictable, quirky, and refreshingly original.

Wes Defoe – Smooth, charming, and full of sharp observational humour.

Rick Kiesewetter

An Asian American who was adopted in Japan and raised in New Jersey, USA, Rick has been living and working in the UK since 1993. 'Kiesewetter has plenty of national stereotypes to play on, but he soon steers clear of nationality cliches to deliver punchy observational gags about the little things that annoy everyone' (Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard) '... hugely enjoyable hour of comedy (Three Weeks) 'Subversive observations by this UK-based Asian-American comedian...' Darran Griffiths

A comedian, host and podcaster born and raised in Harlow, to Jamaican parents, he has a blend of Caribbean confidence and Essex irreverence Not only a new voice, but an alternative voice. A natural showman and motormouth, who comes from a creative and performing family, his presence in the entertainment world was destined.

Rob Moriarty

Rob Moriarty is an Irish comedian who has also performed in Germany, Poland and the UK. He has performed at some of the best clubs in Ireland, such as The Craic Den, Comedy at The International and The Comedy Crunch. In Germany he has performed at the Hamburg International Comedy Festival and in Berlin he won the Berlin New Stand Up Award in March 2022. In London he has won the Vauxhall gong show, the Backyard Comedy Knockout competition and the prestigious King Gong show at The Comedy Store London. He also reached the semi finals of The Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year ‘22. He has opened for comedians such as Victor Patrascan, Mike Rice and Reginald D Hunter. “The future of comedy.
