About the show
Dugdale Arts Centre welcomes the return of Funny @ DAC, a popular night of live stand-up comedy presented by local promoters Resistance Comedy. As an Enfield-based brand, Resistance Comedy showcases a mix of established TV names and rising talent from across the UK circuit, bringing high-quality live comedy to the borough. The May show features a stellar line-up in the heart of Enfield Town.
Headliner: Angelos Epithemiou
The surreal star of Shooting Stars, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and The Rob Brydon Show. The Guardian calls his style "surreal and curious."
The Line-up
Olivia Lee: Known for Channel 4’s Balls of Steel and ITV. Sky News describes her as "explicit, candid and very funny."
Matt Rouse: A So You Think You’re Funny? finalist. Chortle notes he is "clearly a natural... a very funny man."
Samantha Day: Winner of the 2025 Leicester Comedy Festival Silver Stand Up Award. "Warm, witty, and a natural with the crowd."

Olivia Lee
Known for winding people up on the Channel 4 hidden camera show 'Balls Of Steel', she went on to producer her own hidden camera show on Comedy Central called 'Dirty Sexy Funny'. Nowadays she's a regular on the stand-up circuit.
