About the show
Resistance Comedy returns to Dugdale Arts Centre on Saturday 28 March for its first Dugdale show of 2026, following a recent sold-out event at the venue.
Headlining the evening is Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Dane Baptiste, known for appearances on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. One of the UK’s most recognisable stand-up voices, Dane brings sharp, intelligent comedy to Enfield for a special Saturday night performance.
The night is hosted by Lateef Lovejoy (Comedy Central Live, BBC Radio), with a strong supporting line-up featuring Michael Akadiri (Comedy Central Live, ITV2), Raj Poojara (BBC New Comedy Awards), Arielle Souma (BBC Radio 4), Michael Hackett (Edinburgh Festival Fringe) and Marcus Tisson (Top Secret Comedy Club).
Resistance Comedy is an independent Enfield-based comedy brand known for bringing professional live stand-up to welcoming local venues. Audiences can expect a lively atmosphere, high-quality comedy and a full evening of entertainment in an intimate theatre setting.
Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 8pm.
