It's 2013. Euan's 11. He's got a camcorder, a bowl cut and a dream. But as his fledgling YouTube channel begins to skyrocket, Euan quickly finds that fame isn't as fun as it looks. Shortlisted for the 2024 David MacLennan Award, Playback combines live performance with Euan Munro's real childhood YouTube videos to tell a deeply personal, darkly comic story about growing up online.
