Annasach Ceilidh Band invites you to our regular ceilidh in the hidden gem of Edinburgh’s Old Town, The Counting House.

Doors open at 7.30pm so you can grab a complimentary Johnnie Walker Black Label whisky, then the dancing will kick off at 8pm. Our dance caller Tricia will be there to explain the dances so beginners welcome. The bar will remain open until midnight.

Tickets are priced at £15 and £12 concession and you will receive an e-ticket which should be brought with you on the evening. Please be advised that tickets are non-transferable and any requests for refunds must be made directly to the band. A small number of tickets will be available to purchase at the door, please be aware that both the box office and venue are cashless.

Annasach Ceilidh Band - available for all occasions from Aberdeen to Zurich! Annasach (Gaelic for unusual, unconventional) are a three-piece ceilidh band plus dance caller and have been playing for ceilidhs, parties, birthdays, weddings and folk festivals since 1990 from Aberdeen to Zurich! The sound of the band has a more folk based slant rather than traditional ceilidh with the current line-up being fiddle, keyboard and bass. This provides an energetic, vibrant sounding front line mixed with a forceful, funky piano and bass back line. Our dance caller, Tricia, (who is probably the most important member of the band!) has years of experience and is guaranteed to calm any nerves and make sure that everyone enjoys themselves.
