Misplaced have risen quickly from relative obscurity to underground threat, establishing themselves as one of the bands to watch in 2021. Singer Kyle Beaton and lead guitarist Kenny Hilling formed the group alongside Richard Smith (bass) from the remnants of a previous project. “Blurring the line between pop punk and Midwestern emo, Glasgow’s Misplaced seem just what their name implies. Really though, if we didn’t know any better, we may have guessed that they’d come up through Chicago.
