The River Annick is a brand new quintet based in central Scotland, featuring some of the region's finest contemporary jazz musicians: Allan Wylie (trumpet), Graeme Wilson (tenor sax), Alan Benzie (piano & keyboards), Timmy Allan (bass) and Stuart Brown (drums). Their original material channels the restless dynamic and swirl of the late 60s Miles quintet, with effusive interaction across tight angular melodies and lush dreamscapes.
