THON
From the creative mind of Owen Carty comes THON a live dark ambient audio visual experience. THON utilises vhs screens, lighting, and multiple custom audio equipment to showcase a truly immersive sound. Carty has been performing metal and rock on the underground scene for the past two decades. THON is a natural evolution of the musical rejection of ecumenical ideas inherent in the metal genre, encompassing ideas from techno, Horror scores and drone to create a unique encapsulation of the itching, uncomfortable sense of dread and horror that characterises the late stage capitalistic world of brutality we exist in.
