About the show
Zoe Gilby is a UK based jazz vocalist and winner of the Parliamentary Awards Jazz Vocalist of the Year 2019. 'Pannonica' is Zoe's tribute to both the music of Thelonius Monk and the 1988 album from Carmen McRae, which featured lyrical interpretations of Monk's quirky, complex compositions. Alongside Zoe are: Terence Collie (keys), Nick Lenner Webster (bass) & Ted Carass (drums).

Zoe Gilby Quartet
UK jazz vocalist and songwriter who's been making a real impression on the jazz scene. A constantly expanding repertoire that starts with her compelling originals written with bassist husband Andy Champion and performed by her highly accomplished band, which features guitarist Mark Williams and drummer Richard Brown. Her stockpile of music also reaches more contemporary material from composers such as Pink Floyd through to Kate Bush. Also included in her varied programme are some superb interpretations of the Great American Songbook. Her influences are many and include Carmen McRae, Nancy Wilson, Sheila Jordan and Roberta Gambarini.
