Prepare yourself for an evening of top-quality stand-up in the atmospheric Durham Miners Hall.

Line-up:
MC Dean Coughlin – a multi-award-winning, working-class comic from Liverpool who started comedy in 2017 and has since performed internationally in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and Amsterdam whilst winning Breakthrough Act of the Year at the Northwest Comedy Awards in 2023.

John Fotherfill – a lively Geordie comedian from Crawcrook in the North East of England who began his career in 1993 and became a regular headliner at prestigious comedy venues worldwide, having appeared with the likes of Jack Dee and Lee Evans and becoming a long-term member of the Comedy Store’s Cutting Edge team.

Catherine Young – an actor and stand-up comedian who has been featured on BBC Radio Newcastle and a rising stand up.

Ian Stone – a British stand-up comedian, broadcaster and writer who began his career in 1991 and is notable for appearing on shows such as Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and presenting ‘The Football’s On’ on TNT Sports, whilst also being ranked as one of the top ten comedians in the UK by The Independent.

Dean Coughlin is a multi-award winning, working-class comic from Liverpool, who has quickly established an outstanding reputation for his talent. Dean won Breakthrough Act of The Year 2023, and Best Comedy Podcast at The Northwest Comedy Awards 2023.

Catherine Young is here to bring you joy! She's here to brighten your day, put a smile on your face, and a spring in your step. Are you looking for one hour of uplifting, down-to-earth, Northern working-class humour? If the answers yes, then she's your girl! This show is about everyday life, northern working-class experiences, and overcoming loss. It's about laughing at ourselves in the darkest of times and remembering to find the joy in the smallest of things.

Ian Stone

Ranked amongst the top ten stand-ups in Britain by The Independent, Ian Stone is one of the most talented topical acts and comperes in the country. Edgy and provocative, with an easy-going manner and self-depreciating style, Ian is at great ease bantering with an audience. He's a member of the Comedy Store's critically acclaimed 'Cutting Edge' team. Ian also received a nomination in 2012 for the Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival Awards. He has performed all over the world including Comedy Festivals in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, South Africa, Holland, France, Ireland and Germany. He’s entertained the troops in Kuwait, Bosnia,Kosovo, Cyprus and Afghanistan. He was the first British stand-up to perform in Moscow and the first performer to appear for The Comedy Store in Mumbai.
