Luke Daniels Trio

A master musician and singer-songwriter whose work does not shy away from the big questions; exploring life, love, doubt and faith through the lens of our shared human nature. Former Riverdance band member and soloist on the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movie soundtracks, Luke Daniels is a hugely talented performer described in fRoots as “having entered the pantheon of great button accordionists” for his 2012 double album The Mighty Box. Since then, he’s gained more recognition for his singing and songwriting, performing his 2014 PRSF New Music Biennial commission on vocals, piano, guitar and 5-string banjo for live BBC Radio 3 broadcasts.
