East Kent trio that combine absolutely gargantuan sounding garage & grunge punk drums (O’Leary) and apologetically honest ‘Art as Activism’ lyrics and Bass guitar (Hayward) all enhanced with fuzzzy guitar riffs (Livings). Ode To Sleep are influenced by bands such as Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill, Screaming Females, TØP, Hagar The Womb, Incubus, Aiden, Bonaparte and Ska-P. Ode to Sleep explore various topics with their music including: human and animal rights, environmental issues, equality and mental health.
