Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Mickleover, Derby August 2025

Funhouse Comedy Club brings another laughter-packed night to Binary, Mickleover on Sunday August 24th.

Topping the bill is winner of Best Act in the Midlands Comedy Awards 2016 the exciting and energetic Duncan Oakley, who powers out a deft blend of stupidity mixed with impressive musicianship that yields hilarious results. His easy confidence and good natured banter leaves the crowd wanting for more.

Opening the night will be the deadpan Peter Brush, who was a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award and has written for BBC Radio 4's 'The News Quiz'; as well as supporting Arthur Smith and Stephen K Amos on tour. Sometimes referred to as a geek, his mind seems to find the oddities in 'normality'! His imaginative use of words and strange lines of thought, results in unique and sharp material.

Completing the line-up is the warm and light-hearted Ben Ashurst with his comical thoughts.

Compere for the night will be the positive, amiable and amusing Dave Bryon.
