Join members of the Songs for Survivors of the 21st Century creative team for pop-up performances bringing opera to new spaces and new people in Coventry. Drop in to listen to songs by professional singers and musicians from a new opera along with some classic opera favourites.
Wednesday 8th October - the Wellness Junction in Broad Street Hall from 11.00am, Coventry Cathedral at 1.30pm and Central Library at 3.30pm.
Friday 24th October - the Mind allotments in Spon End at 11.30am, the Lower Precinct Shopping Centre at 2.00pm and finally the Betty Ennis Hub in Willenhall at 3.30pm.
The public performances have been curated by the Opera Buddies group, who came up with a shortlist of spaces in Coventry where they would like to hear opera.
Opera Buddies is a friendly informal group to make new friends, talk about opera and experience opera together. To join, email Vanessa at herdayopera@gmail.com or join our facebook group
