In this 2 ½ hour workshop, you will: learn the art of contemporary gilding, how it has changed over time and how you can use it in your own home to give it the Midas touch! be given your own toolbox which will contain all the materials and tools required for this workshop. learn how to gild a picture frame with Dutch Gold leaf and then add your own unique flair to an ornament, object or fresh flower. Amelia has a Master's degree in the Conservation of Cultural Heritage from the University of Lincoln. She is a gilt frame, objects, and decorative surfaces conservator and restorer and has worked in the Fine Art sector for over 4 years gaining extensive experience in restoring and conserving antiques.
