1997 - The Loss of Sexual Innocence (18) A series of loosely connected vignettes and flashbacks explores the life of a filmmaker named Nic (Julian Sands) from his life at age 5, 12 and 16, and as a man embarking on his first film in 1950s Tunisia, and finally to his current age. Along the way, well let’s just say that he has a few encounters as the title might suggest. Starring: Julian Sands; Bernard Hill; Gina McKee; Saffron Burrows; Kelly Macdonald; Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Directed by Mike Figgis Running Time – 106 minutes Local Link Mike Figgis – the director – was born in Carlisle and the films includes scenes filmed in Cumbria.
